From left to right: Beverly Hall Bashe, John Anderson, Marietta Loomis Colitre, Ylva Bjaler Lindroth, Joann Carrington Castronovo, and Gail Anthony Drohan A mini-reunion was held in Fort Myers Beach, FL at the home of Gail Anthony Drohan on March 6, 2004. Ylva flew in from Sweden, spent a day with Beverly Hall on Florida's east coast, and then both of them traveled to Ft. Myers Beach to spend four hours with the rest of the group on Saturday. Joann drove down from Zephyrhills, FL with her daughter, Toni. Marietta Loomis is now living in Greece, but was in Florida at her condominium in Fort Myers for about three weeks. John Anderson was sponging off his sister, Karen, in Naples for the weekend. Gail and Verner Drohan played host to the group in their beautiful condominium overlooking the bay. Beverly, Marietta, Joann and Gail are retired. John and Ylva are still slaving away, although Ylva admits to cutting back on her work as a physician and specialist in Rheumatology. We decided to have another reunion next year in Florida, before the big 45th next summer. |
